First of all I'd like to welcome everyone and myself to my blog I've created right now.
Maybe I should explain why I've decided to join the bloggers round the world as blogging is actually not a very female hobby.
Well, that was one more spontaneous idea I had. I just see it as a chance to keep in touch with people I'm not able to see every day. I think all of you know what it's like to meet people from different countries or have friends and family in diffrent corners of the world. I see blogging as an easy way to give a prove of life to everybody who is interested in me to be alive.
I do see it as a project, too. To have one more regular thing in life (yes I do plan to post regulary) might not be a bad idea, as my life is not that regular after all.
Why English? I consider the fact that my English is (still) far away from perfect. But I want to make sure everyone is able to understand my blog as I do meet foreigners every now and then. Besides, practice is everything.
Last but not least I thought it's important to describe myself in a few sentences. My name is Deborrah (double r is actually the greek way of writing), but my friends call me Debby. I've grown up in a kind of suburb (we actually don't have outskirts here in Switzerland) of Lucerne. I still live here with my parents and sis on the weekends but recently moved out to St.Gallen where I study at the University of St.Gallen.
I don't want to force upon my whole life to you right now but looking forward to creating my blog and share a bit of my life with my readers. You are of course welcome to email me or leave your comments at any time.
